
PROFILE
Scott Kelly is Northern Ireland's youngest superbike racer at 19 years old. A former Aprilia Superteen Champion 2003 at only 13 years old and Runner Up Overall in the Welsh Superbikes 2007 and in the 600 Supersport 2005, 'Scottie' has now catapulted himself up the bike sizes to the biggest bike - Superbike GB 1. He has just taken his first podium place at British Thundersport GB1 in June 2008.
He has featured in The Belfast Telegraph 'Local Heroes', The Belfast Newsletter and is reported almost on a weekly basis by John Savage Editor The Newtownards Chronicle - an acomplished and knowledgable journalist and avid fan of motorsports.
ACCOLADES
Scottie has just been awarded 'Most Improved Rider' by British Thundersport June 2008 at Brands Hatch.
SPONSORSHIP
Scottie signed with AKR Promotions at the beginning of February 2008 and in that time he has had no less than six sponsorships - McIntyre Plumbing & Heating, Bangor Fuels, La Mon Country Club, NIICCA , Maximuscle and Roy Adams Photography.
CURRENT PROJECTS
Scottie is currently racing on the British Thundersport circuit currently being shown on Sky Television - Motorsports and competing in the Irish Superbike Championships.
