PROFILE
In a career that has to date spanned an incredible 13 years Karla Quinn is the current British Junior Ice Skating Champion and she just keeps on breaking records! In 2008 Karla made history by becoming the first ever skater from Ireland to ever hold the British Novice, Primary and Junior titles. In 2008 she took the Gold Medal in the Coupe de Printemps - Senior ISU category. She is currently on the Individual Athlete Support Programme - Silver Award.
After an operation in late 2006 Karla made a remarkable return to competitive ice skating which was featured by BBC NI online and BBC Newsline. In late 2007 Karla also turned down the opportunity to feature in CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER HIJACK in favour of competing in the British C'Ships!
ACCOLADES
The current Ballymoney Senior Sportsperson of the Year (joint winner) and the Ballymoney Times Sportsperson of the Month - January Karla has been the recipient of many Junior Sportsperson Awards over the years including Britain's Brilliant Protege. In June 2008 Karla was voted by the NI General Public as the Northwest Pride Award Winner for sport and overall area winner!

CURRENT PROJECTS
Karla is in training for the current season in Sheffield, England when she will participate in her first British Senior Championships 2009 having qualified in November 2007.
