
PROFILE
Jenna McCorkell is not only the current British Senior Ice Skating Champion but she has won the coveted title no less than additional four times. She has been a member of the British National Squad since the age of 10 years old and participated in her first Senior European Championships at the age of 16 years.
In 2008 she took the bronze medal in Bratislava Senior ISU and won the Belgian National C'Ships in November. Performance after performance saw Jenna achieve personal best scores all season culminating in her best ever performance to date in the short programme at the European C'Ships 2008 when she came a phenomenal 7th place in the short programme and won the technical component score.
She sustained her efforts in the free to place 8th overall the best performance by a GB singles skater in over 20 years. Jenna is supported by SPORT NI - Individual Athlete Support Programme - Gold Award.
ACCOLADES
The current Coleraine Senior Sportsperson of the Year, Jenna won the prestigioua Overall Dromona Award in 2007 and also the UST Senior Sportsperson Award the same year for the third time. Jenna is a former Overall Winner of the OCS Award, and has received numerous accolades too many to mention over the years.

CURRENT PROJECTS
Jenna currently lives and trains in Belgium and on 17th May 2007 Jenna married fellow Olympic, World and European Bronze medallist in ice skating Kevin Van der Perren in Coleraine Co.Antrim. Jenna has had a great start to the new season 2008 placing 5th overall in Obersdorf, Germany, 6th overall in the Finlandia Trophy and 7th overall in the Skate Canada Senior Grand Prix 2008 placing 4th in the short with a PB.
