PROFILE

Cameron McIntyre is one of Lower Ards and North Down's prolific poets. Currently on his sixth publication Cameron signed with AKR Promotions in April 2008. Renowned for his charity work, Cameron's all new interactive website takes poetry to a whole new audience. In 2007 one of Cameron's poems was included alongside with other winning poems in 'The Poetry In Motion' competition and published on an Ulster Bus - now everyone can enjoy the poetic plumber!

CURRENT PROJECTS

On 1st May 2008 AKR Promotions launched an ambitious project on behalf of Cameron - The McIntyre Poetry Awards - PRIMARY POETRY FOR ALL. A competition open to all primary school children in Northern Ireland P5 - P7. The Final Awards Ceremony will be hosted by Mr Jim Shannon MLA at the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings, Stormont on 28th November 2008.

All proceeds from this and Cameron's latest book will go to NI Children's Hospice and NIICCA .
